The "Giro d'Italia" Goes Through Jesolo

If you're thinking about making a booking in Jesolo, Sunday May 10th 2009 the city will host the start of the second stage of the 92nd "Giro d'Italia". The teams invited to attend and compete for victory will be 21, with 198 cyclists. The event begin in "Piazza Mazzini" and go all the way along "Via Bafile", "Piazza Brescia", "Via Aquileia", "Piazza Drago" and "Via Mameli" up to the first intersection of "Via Roma Destra", here the stage will kick off at 1.35 pm. The 156 km long route will take the participants to Trieste. 80 vehicles will head the athletes; it's the "Carovana Rosa" - a promotional programme that ensures fun and entertainment. The possibility of joining the "Giro Club" will allow many to closely follow the exciting event. Jesolo traders will join the initiative by adhering to the "Vetrine in Rosa" agreement, open to shops that will dress shop windows in theme with the "Giro". These should be prepared by May 3rd and held that way through to May 10th.
